While They Slept {Story time with felt storyboard sets}

Ashlyn has a huge imagination. I can’t say for sure its because we only offer our kids “quiet” toys (nothing that speaks or does the thinking for the child), but I can definitely tell you that she LOVES using her imagination, so we provide her with as many stimulating pretend toys as possible to nurture her little mind. I have always adored the felt sets at story time at the local library, but I could never find any felt sets I liked other than the standard ABCs and 123s. Of course, once I discovered While They Slept I was instantly hooked! I had to have every set! We own several now, but wanted to share one of our favorites, the Wizard of Oz set. This story is one of Ashlyn’s absolute favorites. We have a copy in our Usborne Illustrated Series and Ashlyn requests it at least once per week. Today I gave her the felt pretend set while I read her the story. I just love how happy she was playing as she listened!
