Washington Makers {The best local small shops for mom and kids}
I am a proud Washingtonian here, and am so excited to have had the opportunity to work with some fantastic Washington makers! I wanted to share all the beautiful handmade items you can find right here in Washington State, all made by small shop mamas!
I was inspired by these cute flash cards for kids from Bright Eyed Baby Shop which are Washington state themed. I chose 8 themes from this flashcard set that I felt best represented my state and these gorgeous items.
…
Theme: Pacific Northwest
Washington is part of the Pacific Northwest. The PNW is known among other things for its wildlife, mountains, and forests.

Beanie {Modern Babe} Puyallup, WA
Slouch Leggings {Fawn Kids Clothing} Seattle, WA
Wooden Mountains {Pretty Poppies Shoppe} Moses Lake, WA

Seattle is one of the top 5 rainiest cities in the US. But you won’t find us complaining! Just jumping into boots and grabbing umbrellas!

Leggings & Bibdana {PNW Baby} Seattle WA

…
Theme: Farmers Market
Known as Seattle’s heart and soul, Pikes Place Market is one of the oldest continuously operating farmers markets in the country! Its a favorite attraction among locals- and fun fact, this was where my husband and I spent our very first date together! You never know what treasures you might find, from pillows to signs to books, bracelets, coffee cozies to tees! Here are some things you might find at our market!
Our Nest Pillow {So Vintage Chic} Seattle, WA
Gather Wood Sign {Splinters N Dust} Lake Stevens, WA

Bracelet {Mommy Goodies} Lake Stevens, WA
Coffee Cozy {Kris10 N Stitches} Tacoma, WA
Bath Bomb {Carol & Grace} Puyallup, WA

Romper {Freckles & Fancy} DuPont, WA
Bonnet {Little Sun Hat} Seattle, WA

Theme: Orca Whale
Seattle is the world’s only major metropolitan area inhabited by a resident population of Orca Whales. Orca’s are the official state marine mammal.

Beanie {Modern Babe} Puyallup, WA
Teal Tee {Fawn Kids Clothing} Seattle, WA

Theme: Tulips
While the official state flower is the Rhododendron, tulips are also a big part of Washington state. At the annual Skagit Valley Tulip festival in Washington, you will find millions of tulips in bloom! It is a gorgeous sight, and a local favorite attraction. Lavender is also a big part of Washington, with festivals and fields galore!

WA Wood Toy {Bannor Toys}
PNW Tee {PNW Baby} Seattle, WA

I can’t say enough good things about all of the gorgeous flatlays!! So much though and care goes into placing items with other complimentary small shop items and it shows! I love it all and I can tell that there is appreciation for each item photographed.
