Grocery shopping with ThirtyOne Re-Useable Bags

It’s Friday! For our family that means grocery shopping day. Time to load up the littles, and my cart, and prepare to feed this family of 5 for yet another week. And my family sure can eat! I hate plastic bags for many reasons; they are bad for the environment, they don’t hold much, they rip, and then I’m stuck dragging in 20 bags while juggling kids tired from the shopping trip while the food slowly rots the longer it’s out of refrigeration. Nothing about plastic is awesome at all.

When I discovered ThirtyOne Gifts and these awesome utility and thermal market totes I was more than excited to test these out and replace all other little, annoying, pain-in-the-butt bags I normally use. My bags are now 3 years old, I use them every single week, and 3 years later they are still as good as new. No rips, no tears, no stains. I’ve been able to wipe marks off as needed and that’s about the most I’ve done to care for them!

I love that they fit side by side in my trunk, even when the third row is up and the trunk is tiny these both fit perfect!

After I get my bags home it’s one quick trip into the house with one bag on each arm, and then I can plop them onto the table in one step. I don’t have to rush to put the food away because the thermal tote on the right keeps the refrigerated items cool while I situate the kids!

Most weeks I actually fit a lot more into these totes! They are both only about 75% full this time.

This is a whole weeks worth of groceries for a family of 5 (except the milk which we have delivered). Everything is fresh and cold even though I didn’t unpack it until an hour after I got home.

I absolutely love these bags! Not only do they fit a whole weeks worth of groceries, and are durable and SO CUTE, but they fold flat too! When not in use I just flatten and leave them in my car with the stroller and other necessities. And then anytime I need a bag for anything they are ready to go!

I will never return to plastic and should the day come that these need to be replaced I will happily buy a new set. These ThirtyOne bags are one of my most used and favorite bags ever! And there are always new fun prints releasing so I might need a new set just because!
