Styling a Farmhouse Hutch with Antiques and Vintage Finds

Vintage pieces and antiques look so beautiful when styled in a farmhouse hutch. I have several hutches in my home filled with antiques and vintage pieces, in shades of white, cream, and dark metals. To curate your own hutch you just need to mix and match antiques and vintage finds such as ironstone, silver, pewter, cream platters and plates, Rae Dunn, etc. I’m sharing my hutches today to inspire you as you style your own farmhouse hutch as well as how and where to find vintage and antique decor pieces.

In my first hutch I have a mixture of stacked old books, Rae Dunn, ironstone, cream scalloped platters, and faux greens. Take a look!

My other hutch is actually a set of hutches from IKEA. These are the Liatorp hutches which have a beautiful farmhouse look to them despite being new and from IKEA. They are meant to stack together (they have the pieces needed when you purchase them to either have one or multiple that connect). On top of my hutch I have an antique dough bowl and some antique corbels.

The inside of these hutches are filled with ironstone, jadeite, cream and scalloped platters, Rae Dunn, vintage opal Pyrex, pewter, silver, antique cookie cutters, mercury glass, and more!

I really like that the lower part of this hutch is hidden so I can store the things that I don’t necessarily want on display. The top part has all of my vintage pieces and antiques that I love to display (in shades of white, cream, and dark metals).

I curated this hutch over time by thrifting frequently at Goodwill. Check out this post on how I find these vintage and antique pieces at thrift stores.

I also have a buffet styled with vintage finds and antiques!

I am always changing and rearranging my hutches with the seasons and as I find new and special junk from the thrift stores and Goodwill.

But I also buy new things online that fit well with my decor – you can check out some of my favorite decor that you can buy online HERE. I hope this inspires you to decorate your own hutch with antiques and vintage pieces you find at the thrift store!
