Modern Rustic Farmhouse Bathroom Makeover with Vintage Patina Tile Wallpaper
Bathroom makeovers are one of my favorite transformations because of how an ugly old room can light up with some simple changes. We recently finished a DIY wallpaper installation tutorial in our powder room with D. Marie Interiors wallpaper. The process was so easy and fast! Now that we are finished, it is time for the full reveal with before and after photos of our modern rustic farmhouse bathroom makeover! Previously we had installed these DIY fixtures (the shelf, towel bar and toilet paper holder) but the bathroom still seemed like it needed a facelift. I wanted to brighten the space up with something more eye catching than just paint,…

Family Camping at Mount Rainier National Park {Washington}
Mount Rainier National Park, an icon and guarded treasure of Washington State, ascends to a whopping 14,410 feet above sea level. Mount Rainier is not only an active volcano, but the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A., giving birth to five major rivers. You will find wildflower meadows blanketing the higher elevations of the icy volcano while ancient forest with 1000 year old trees fill Mount Rainier’s lower regions (source). There are several beautiful campgrounds to immerse yourself in the landscape and so many beautiful hikes and sights to see while you visit, it’s no wonder it is a must-do family vacation for anyone in the Pacific Northwest! Our…

DIY Little Girl’s Spa Birthday Party
Ashlyn requested a pampering spa birthday party for her and her friends to celebrate her 7th birthday this year. A day at the spa is something many little girls dream of, but it is very expensive and not always the best place to host a birthday party full of loud and excited little girls. Instead, I decided to host a DIY budget-friendly little girl’s spa party at our house! Hosting a DIY spa birthday party at home allows you to pamper the girls without breaking the bank (and without annoying anyone else who might not appreciate a party of giggly kids at an actual spa!) This party is great for…

Here is my beginners guide to must-do pop-up camper maintenance, including cleaning mold from the canvas, battery maintenance, and flushing the fresh water tank. Cleaning mold from the inside of your camper Moisture had…

Spring is in the air! Fresh flowers, baby animals, and Easter celebrations fill the season. For some it is the season to clean and organize, and for others, its the season to refresh the home with bright and cheerful decor. I love to decorate with neutrals, greens, and blush for spring – I feel like these colors make the home feel cozy and bright and remind me of spring. For Easter, we usually celebrate with a dinner with the family so I wanted to create a tablescape using my favorite spring colors. I put together this simple spring tablescape for Easter in just a few simple steps – it’s easy…
