Olga’s Organics {Pure & simple organic beauty essentials}

If you catch me on any given day you will see me in a slouchy beanie or a hair braid, yoga pants and a comfy shirt. Not a whole lot of makeup or fancy extras. I like to dress and wear things similar to how I like to live my life; clean and simple, while enjoying things that are both pretty and useful. Over the past several years I have changed our home over to products that are organic and non-toxic, to better the environment and the health of our family. However, I had not yet found an organic line of beauty products for myself that I loved.  Until now! Enter Olga’s Organics. Olga’s Organics is just the right beauty line for someone like me! Olga’s Organics is the first to create a USDA Organic Certified face powder in the USA, that not only is non-toxic, but actually works and feels better than other products on the market! I tried the medium face powder with the Kabuki Brush made with vegan fibers. The brush is made with bamboo handles, which I love because of the incredible sustainability of bamboo! It grows 25x faster than any other wood. The brush fibers were soft and applied the face powder smoothly and evenly.

The face powder matched my skin tone perfectly, evened out my skin tone and blemishes just enough, and added just a touch of bronzer glow. It did not feel thick and it did not rub off easily. It did however, wash off very easily when I was ready to take it off. My face felt light, as if I were not wearing any makeup, which is exactly how I like it! And can I just rave about the SMELL for a minute?? I have never in my life had makeup that smelled nice, let alone smelled so heavenly! It felt really good to apply something so fresh and delightful to my face that actually worked. Like I said, I am not a big fan of heavy makeup, so this light and easy to apply face powder is just perfect for me. Essential to my easy-going look and daily beauty routine is a good lip moisturizer. Olga’s Organic & Mineral Lip Tint feels divine, being made of cocoa and Shea butters, it is not only ultra moisturizing but adds just a hint of color to your lips. Who says you can’t moisturize with style? 🙂

Lastly, I tried Olga’s Whipped Body Butter. I tried both the Lavender and the Ylang Ylang. The Ylang Ylang had a very floral smell with a hint of vanilla, which was both light and fresh! The Lavender stole my heart, however. Lavender is one of my favorite scents year-round. It just smells like a day at the spa, an afternoon in the hills, and a relaxing bath at night (if it’s possible for one scent to bring about so many wonderful things for me, it is lavender).

The body butter really softened and moisturized my skin! It melted right into my skin and absorbed quickly so my skin did not feel greasy after application. My skin stayed moisturized for hours! I have super dry skin, so moisturizing products are very important to me.
