Neutral & Simple Cottage Style Office Organization Refresh
Styling with cozy simple neutrals is an easy way to refresh and update your office – and to help get it organized. Sometimes it can be overwhelming to shop for pieces for your room – you have to search high and low for the right pieces and to organize a space and you need just the right mixture of simple and functional to clean the room up – not always easy to do! To save you the hassle, I have found several pieces I love from Joss & Main so that you can easily refresh your space and get it organized – right from home!
Firstly, you need to center the room with a cozy neutral rug. Next, shop for a desk that fits your space in a neutral or wood tone. I always like to add an accent chair into my office so visitors (or the kids) have somewhere to sit, too. Add a cozy chunky knit throw to the chair for another simple neutral piece that easily refreshes the space.
For organization (the most important part of refreshing an office) shop for a desk organizer, a little apothecary organizer, and a wall organizer. It is always nice to have at least one bookshelf to organize your books and odds and ends – and I like to use metal baskets (so you can see what is inside them) to organize within the open shelving as well. For larger items like wrapping paper I keep a couple big jute baskets handy.
To keep the office clean and organized, I keep all the functional items within the baskets and shelves and put a few pretty accent pieces in the room to brighten and refresh the space. A few simple neutrals that I love are these candlesticks, this square wood clock, a faux fiddle leaf tree and a pretty floral canvas print.
I hope this simple and neutral office organization refresh inspires you to clear the clutter and refresh your own office at home!

I love that rug! We have a very similar one in our living room and I love the classic traditional print mixed with the faded distressed look.

So…. I need ALL of this. It would totally fit the theme of my home. Although I would have to keep my dogs away, they like to muss up my stuff.

I’ll bet you have such a cozy home office with these products! My husband and I did built-in desks, and have a more modern style in the office. It’s the only place in the house that’s “modern” but it works well for us. I agree, though, that everything needs a function and it helps to have pieces that look nice while also keeping everything organized.

I love the natural tones and simple bit elegant design. The plants add a nice splash of color. Very inspirational.

I love these colors for decor! I have a lot of white and gray in my house and my dining table + buffet are that gray distressed wood.

I love the idea of a neutral office space! I tend to get easily distracted, so simply decorating would definitely help keep me more productive!
