I love this idea. It is both pretty and practical. Two of my nieces are about 1 year old so they need a nice safe surface to crawl on. I remember a few years back I got a high-end shag rug cleaned before Xmas and it just shed like mad after that everyone who was crawling around with my nieces and nephews had hairs all over them. As well my nephew put a Nanaimo bar into the carpet. This really would have been a great alternative to that (and easier to clean up)
