So, perhaps go with a city like Perth. It’s usually on people’s hit list, and there’s plenty of car rental services that will allow you to hit the route. Perth’s favourite car rental company should be able to sort you out with a car that suits your needs. Then you actually need to plan the route. You could follow the coast and visit the Gold Coast, Sydney, and everything the coast has to offer. Think of cities like Melbourne, Victoria, brisbane, and all the hot spots that you’re going to need to snap up. If you can, we’d highly recommend that you take an outback tour at some point as well. Stick to a guided tour, as they can be pretty dangerous. Only recently did a group of tourists car break down, and they were lost for days having split up to try and find help.

We know that getting to Australia comes with a hefty price tag. It’s not just the place you go for a week or two. People go for three or more weeks, and it starts adding up. So to save some money along your road trip, you could think about doing a mix of camping and hotel stays. There are some seriously incredible camping spots along the route, and the vibe of a campsite is usually amazing.

This is going to be a holiday that does truly tire you out, so to make sure that you make the most of every stop off, do your research and see what’s in each location.
