A Vintage Blush & Floral Girls Bedroom

Vintage treasures, blush bedding and floral wallpaper create Ashlyn’s new vintage blush and floral girls bedroom. Ashlyn is nearly 8 so we wanted to refresh the space to create something that would last through her school years. So out went the pastel whimsical decor and in came the timeless look of blush and floral. With some beautiful floral wallpaper, a new big girls metal bedframe, vintage blush bedding, and some vintage accent pieces, Ashlyn’s big girl bedroom is complete!

The first change we made to this room was to cover the pastel blue walls with a color that would look timeless and work throughout the rest of Ashlyn’s school years until college. I fell in love with this wall mural from D.Marie Interiors and choose a coordinating cream color from Valspar – Dogwood Petal.

We then upgraded Ashlyn from a toddler bed to a twin bed. I found this beautiful white metal bedframe that looks similar to old vintage style frames and thought it would work well in her bedroom.

The bedding set is from Beddy’s and it is paired it with this bedskirt. We love our Beddy’s bedsets, the zipper feature is amazing! The Vintage Blush color looks gorgeous with the wallpaper! Above Ashlyn’s bed I hung this blush bed tent. For her nightstand I found a vintage blush nightstand and rose gold lamp. All of the vintage pieces and the blush blend beautifully with the wallpaper!

This gorgeous vintage pattern rug in pink and cream with hints of blues and rust centers the bedroom. The size of this rug is 7×9′ and fits the space perfectly. The colors of this rug really tie this room together.

For Ashlyn’s play area, I found a vintage coffee table and chalk painted it in linen white. Her play castle sits here, with her book shelves above. Nearly all of Ashlyn’s books are from our favorite book subscription service. Every month we receive exciting and unique books to add to her collection! This area also is home to Ashlyn’s vintage dolls and her doll closet.

Next to Ashlyn’s bed is a vintage white vanity with some vintage treasures like old flashcards, a musical carousel, and an old silver mirror and brush set. I also found this sweet vintage and blush vanity stool.

The final space in Ashlyn’s vintage blush and floral bedroom is this wall where her toy chest and bow display are. For her bow display I found a vintage shutter and clipped all her bows to it and set it on a shelf.

Her toy chest is an old wicker chest I found at a thrift store. I also found this pretty little clothing rack where Ashlyn can hang her outfits for the week so getting ready in the morning is easy!
