Muffin Bub Dolls {A sweet tea party with felt toys}

It’s no secret that I loathe toys that make noise. By that I mean toys that remove all genuine imagination from playtime. I love simple toys that allow my children to create a world of their own. I believe play fosters imagination and leads to a bright and happy mind! There is NEVER too much playtime in our house. Ashlyn is my most playful child at this time. She is almost 5, and spends pretty much every waking moment immersed in pretend play or art of some kind. I am always looking to add new foods to her play kitchen but have been a little disappointed with the selection I have seen at most retailers. The plastic foods are boring and bland, and seem to break easily, so I shop for wood and felt foods for our play kitchen. When I found Muffin Bub Dolls I fell in love with all the beautiful handmade felt foods and my excitement doubled because she is a Washington mama! Local and handmade!

When our package arrived, everything was safely and carefully wrapped in cute and fun bags.

The theme of these goodies is a sweet tea party!

Of course, I set up an invitation to play for Ashlyn right away because she was literally oooing and ahhing at all these goodies with big puppydog eyes wanting to play with them. I set up her tea party in her room with all her favorite stuffies next to the table so she could invite whichever friends she wanted to join her.

Treats galore!

Cupcakes, doughnuts, & cookies in beautiful pastels.

Ashlyn sat down and right away served up tea.

She put strawberry jam all over the doughnuts too.

Then she prepared mommy’s coffee of course!

And brought out Frannie the fawn from Jade Love Designs (one of her favorite dolls!)

Purple is Ashlyn’s favorite color, so she picked the purple cupcake and doughnut for herself.

But then she thought the pink doughnut looked yummy so she had some of that too!

The quality and care put into each and every piece created by Muffin Bub Dolls is obvious! They are simply gorgeous! And they even SMELL like the real treats! Scented pretend treats, how could it be any better? And it is definitely Ashlyn approved!
