A Simple Spring Tablescape for Easter

Spring is in the air! Fresh flowers, baby animals, and Easter celebrations fill the season. For some it is the season to clean and organize, and for others, its the season to refresh the home with bright and cheerful decor. I love to decorate with neutrals, greens, and blush for spring – I feel like these colors make the home feel cozy and bright and remind me of spring. For Easter, we usually celebrate with a dinner with the family so I wanted to create a tablescape using my favorite spring colors. I put together this simple spring tablescape for Easter in just a few simple steps – it’s easy to recreate and sure to please your guests! Here is a simple and neutral farmhouse Easter tablescape created with peach and cream spring colors, linen napkins, and fresh florals.

As with other seasonal tablescapes I have created, I like to first set a runner down the center of the table and then layer various faux greens and florals. I prefer to use a neutral linen runner, but this tablescape could easily be done with a cream, white, or other light pastel color as well.

In this spring tablescape I layered some faux greens and faux peony stems down the center of the table and added some wood eggs here and there. In the very center I have a fresh floral arrangement (since its spring I must have fresh flowers, too!)

To create the place settings for this spring tablescape I layered some scalloped cream plates for the 4 outer settings, and for the middle setting – just to add some variety – I used two vintage accent plates I found at Goodwill. I love to mix and match plates, so you could create this look with any of your plates as well. The key is to layer them and try to use textured plates for added interest.

In between the plates at each place setting I added a sweet Easter bunny napkin. I love that unique table napkins really give away the holiday – taking the tablescape simply from spring to a touch of Easter. However, if you are not celebrating Easter this tablescape remains neutral enough to simply be spring themed as well – bunnies are a perfect spring decor piece that can really go either way. The table runner is also very neutral for spring.

Each place setting has an ivory wicker charger and rose gold colored utensils for a completed look. Again, you can recreate this look with any silverware and any chargers. I like that the rose gold utensils pop from the setting, so if you use other colors try to create a contrast between your setting and your utensils.

It is so simple to create this spring tablescape this Easter! Just layer some greens and florals down your table and layer some cream plates with a bunny napkin and ivory charger for the setting! Or change it up and use your own color palette preferred items and layer away!

Lastly, I like to turn the head chair away from the table and put a coordinating throw pillow. I feel like turning the chair away from the table opens it up and tells your guests that they are welcome to sit – and the throw pillow is just a sweet way to adorn the chair. Have fun creating your own neutral cozy spring tablescape this Easter!
