A Simple & Neutral Fall Farmhouse Front Porch

Front porches are a wonderful place to decorate seasonally, even if it is the only place you decorate! Front porches welcome your guests and make a statement about your home. I love to decorate my front porch and in fall this means adding fresh fairy tale pumpkins, rustic farmhouse signs, a fall themed door mat, and some beautiful faux fall florals. You can see how I refreshed my porch this past summer here. My fall front porch is decorated in a cottage farmhouse style with simple neutral colors like white, cream, brown, and muted greens.

To refresh the space for fall I partnered with AR Workshop – Mill Creek, a local DIY workshop class that allows you to create beautiful personalized home decor. AR Workshop is a hands-on DIY boutique where you attend alone or bring a group of friends to create custom wood signs, wall hangings, framed signs, wood boxes, chunky knit blankets and more. In their space you will find an inspiring workshop with interesting and functional decor, retail space and a comfortable learning environment to help you have fun creating beautiful DIY home decor. You can see a fun class I attended recently on this post here!

Nearly everything displayed in my fall front porch refresh is from AR Workshop – Mill Creek, including the “Happy Harvest” sign, “Welcome” door hanger, large family name door hanger, and “Thankful” welcome mat.

In addition to these gorgeous personalized items, I also have a vintage cane chair I found thrifting, with one of my favorite pillows. I love to add vintage finds to add to the farmhouse charm that I like to use while decorating my home.

I also used a variety of faux fall florals to add some fun autumn touches to the space. Using faux florals is practical on my porch since I wont have to worry about watering them, or them wilting.

I added some faux fall florals above this beautiful fall sign from AR Workshop. I love how they look together!

One of my favorite pieces from AR Workshop is this personalized door hanger. I just love how beautiful it looks displayed on my front door. The neutral colors will make this perfect year round as well!

For the door mat I layered this thankful mat over a striped rug for added interest. Layering rugs makes them look so pretty! Using black and white stripes under the mat also gives the neutral color mat some pop and makes it stand out to your guests.

It is so easy to create this look by simply layering some pretty fall decor pieces, pumpkins, and florals. The key to keeping it neutral is to use light and muted greens with creams and whites.

The neutral colors, beautiful rustic signs, faux florals and vintage pieces tie this space together to create a simple and neutral fall front porch refresh. I had so much fun refreshing my front porch for fall! You can take the full cottage farmhouse fall home tour of my home to see how I decorated the rest of our home. Happy fall!
