A Rustic Farmhouse Holiday Tablescape
Holidays are the best time to enjoy gathering at the table for a shared meal. Whether it is for Christmas or another holiday, or for no reason at all – a holiday tablescape can be both easy and gorgeous with a few simply farmhouse touches. I love setting the table with fresh greens, vintage candlesticks, and neutral linens. Everything pulled together creates an inviting, fresh, rustic cottage inspired tablescape that welcomes family and friends together to share a meal for the holidays. Neutral with pops of green are my go-to lately. There is something so elegant and homey at the same time about using farmhouse neutrals while incorporating fresh greens. This holiday season I have teamed up with a group of super talented bloggers to bring you tons of holiday inspiration. After you tour my tablescape, check out the other amazing holiday tables, homes, and recipes linked at the end of this post. And tour the rest of my holiday home decor over on this post! I hope you enjoy my tablescape tour!
Styling this tablescape begins with a linen farmhouse table runner. I love this one from Living with Amanda. I used it for my Fall Tablescape as well – it is festive enough for the holidays but neutral enough to use year round. Amanda is such a sweet friend, she has given me a code to share with my readers – RAINANDPINE10 to save you 10% on your order.
For the centerpiece, I layered fresh greens heavily across the whole table runner, and then added several vintage candlestick holders I have been collecting.
I also added some fresh greens in mini white pitchers.
For the place setting I layered two of my everyday round white plates on a cream basket woven charger.
To add variety and interest, I layer one of these mini wreathes between two plates in the center setting only. The other settings have a mini wreath hung on the back of the chair instead.
The opposite table settings have a gorgeous rustic napkin from Living with Amanda between the plates.
Some festive faux greens on my chandelier.
Together the fresh greens, simple white plates and linen napkins create a beautiful rustic farmhouse holiday tablescape. Here are some more views!
And of course, the guests are greeted by a beautiful linen pillow from Linen & Ivory.

Oh my gosh – WOW! I absolutely LOVE this tablescape you created! the different table settings (the wreath under one, and the napkins under the others) are genius. Really brings interest to the table. Your chandelier is also gorgeous all decked out with the greenery. Ohhh I could just go on and on about how pretty it is! Great job!!

Your tablescape is beautiful! The white and soft greens and natural wood tone is peaceful yet festive. I especially love how you’ve interchanged the wreaths from the plates to the backs of the chairs. So adorable! Anyone sitting there would feel special. Glad to be hopping with you. Merry Christmas!
