A Fun DIY Project with Unicorn Spit and Famowood Glaze Coat
Project DIYs can be done in many ways, with many products. But unlike many of the products available today, Unicorn Spit Gel Stain and Glaze works on wood, glass, metal, fabric, concrete and more! This unique product is a DIYer’s dream! In a few simple steps you can create a masterpiece using 14 non-toxic colors in as vibrant or opaque of a shade as you like. Use it as paint or dilute with water to create a gel, stain, glaze, white wash or antiquing tint.
Famowood Glaze Coat is an amazing finishing product that works great with Unicorn Spit! This glaze coating is a super easy to-apply pour-on epoxy coating and dries with a clear, high gloss finish. This product is amazing because it is versatile enough to use on most surfaces smooth or rough, stained or painted. Are you ready to get crafty yet?

I created this beautiful step stool using Unicorn Spit Gel Stain and Glaze and Famowood Glaze Coat. I’ll walk you through this project to help inspire your own amazing DIY masterpiece using Unicorn Spit products!
Unicorn Spit Gel Stain and Glaze
I selected the color Zia Teal for the top of the stool, and diluted it with 50% water to create a stain. I then whitewashed the top of the stool with White Ning. The base of the stool is painted in White Ning.
Step 1: Staining the top of the stool with Zia Teal
Step 2: Whitewashing the top of the stool with White Ning
Step 3: Painting the base of the stool with White Ning
Famowood Glaze Coat
After the stool has completely dried, you are ready to add Famowood Glaze Coat. For a stool this is great because I know it will get a lot of use, and I wanted to protect the surface from wear! Here is how I applied the glaze to the top of the stool, but for more detailed instructions visit here.
The finished project
This project was fun and easy, and turned out great! I love how easy these products are to use, and how versatile they are! Let me know in the comments what project you would complete with Unicorn Spit Gel Stain and Glaze and/or Famowood Glaze Coat.
