A Cozy White Cottage Christmas Living Room Tour
When it comes to Christmas decor, everyone has their own preference on color and style. Some love bright colors, others the subtle hues of the season. I love to decorate my home with cozy neutrals such as earthy wood tones, white, and gold. This year I have created a cozy white cottage Christmas living room by using these elements throughout my space. I wanted the space to feel super cozy so this space is full of lots of cozy pillows and blankets as well as simple rustic touches that usher in the season. Here is a look at my cozy white cottage Christmas living room!
The focal point of my living room is our fireplace. This year I decorated it with empty vintage white and gold frames, centered by a vintage oil painting of frosted trees found while thrifting.
On the ends of the mantle I placed some vintage gold candlestick holders with taper candles, also thrifted treasures. Between the items I have placed a few faux green sprigs. Hanging from the mantle are my white chunky knit stockings, this beautiful mercury glass garland, and a simple bell wreath.
In the main area of the living room I kept it simple by just adding some Christmas throw pillows to the couch, and a village of white ceramic houses above the TV.
I also put this beautiful sign by Oh Sweet Skye on that shelf and layered some black and white art pieces. I also love how my tufted ottoman looks in this space! The room is centered on this gorgeous neutral rug – you can use code rainandpine55 for 55% off!
This console table is a favorite space of mine to decorate seasonally. I simply layered some vintage plates, faux trees, galvanized houses and added this vintage horse. It is so easy to style a console table, you could layer pillows here as well!
Just behind the living room is my dining room. Between the spaces I layered some more faux trees in vintage crocks, another rustic horse, and a laundry cart with more throws and pillows. Another wood bead garland is draped here.
Behind the couch is where my hutches and Christmas Tree are. I love this gorgeous white flocked Christmas tree, it really brightens up this corner!
In the center area of my hutch I placed some neutral Christmas decor pieces like some old ice skates, a couple pillows and throw blankets, faux trees, and a rustic horse. A wood bead garland is draped across the front of the hutches.

This looks so cozy, fabulous and simply amazing! I love the color scheme you have going on here but would be terrified to go all-white with my decor. I’d be too afraid of dirtying it fast! However, this looks awesome.

I would love to have a room like this! However, I will have to wait until my kids grow up, I don’t think it would stay white very long. it is so gorgeous though!!!

Such a stunning room! Makes me all the more excited to decorate – hopefully next week – this is the week that the indoor chaos (opening walls etc) related to our new back deck is scheduled to end, so not much sense til we can stop moving the furniture around every few days!

Well, I would say you definitely nailed cozy! I just want to grab a good book, a cup of hot chocolate, and snuggle up in your living room. Is that weird?! I can’t decide which Christmas style I like, which is why I have decorations of all different looks. I love how yours looks, but I also like color. But at the same time I don’t like bright and whimsical. My decorations are all over the place in style, and then there are all the things the kids make at school thrown in there, too.

I love your Christmas decorating. I must have spent the last hour looking at all the lovely details. I have pinned several of the photos to save for next year.
Love your style.
