New Pop-Up Camper Essential Supply Guide

There are so many things that don’t come with your camper that you need to have before your first trip, for the camper itself and for camping. After tons of research, some trial and error, and advise from others, I was able to figure out and purchase all the basic supplies I would need for my new Pop-Up Camper. To save you some time and effort, I put together a list of all the basic necessary camping supplies you need to buy for a new Pop-Up Camper to make it easier for you to stock your camper and be prepared for your first trip. Here is my comprehensive new pop-up camper essential supply guide!

Necessary Supplies for a Pop-Up Camper

Wheel chocks (to keep your camper safely parked)

Fresh water hose (Should only ever be used for fresh water)

Grey water hose (for sink/waste water)

Leveling blocks (to stabilize and level your camper on uneven ground)

Grey water tank (if you don’t have somewhere to run your grey water hose to, you will need to run it to a tank that you can fill and dump at the end of your camping trip)

Electrical adapter (to convert from city power to camp power, depending on what your camper came with, there are a variety of different adapters-our camper is 30 amp and our home is 15 amp so we purchased a 30 amp to 15 amp converter to power our camper at home)

Portable toilet (even if you plan to camp where there are bathrooms, this can be very handy for late nights or heavily wooded places)
